Sir Menzies Campbell

Rt. Hon. Sir Menzies ('Ming') Campbell CBE QC

Speaking on Holocaust Memorial Day, Liberal Democrat Leader Menzies Campbell said:

"Holocaust Memorial Day offers us the opportunity to reflect on the horrors of the Holocaust, genocide and other crimes against humanity, and to learn the lessons of the past. This commemoration also represents a shared determination to fight racism, intolerance and evil, wherever it is found.

"Today there are those who suffer from the gravest atrocities. We must strengthen our resolve to prevent such crimes, and to defend and protect universal human rights."
